This custom Kathak anarkali, with its dramatic 12-meter flare, is designed to become a part of the performance itself. I crafted this piece to capture the essence of classical dance, ensuring the fabric moves with the dancer's every spin and expression, creating a truly breathtaking spectacle on stage.
From the initial fabric selection to the final stitch, this is a glimpse into how I bring a director's vision to life. I believe a costume's journey is as important as the performance, and I work meticulously to ensure every piece is perfect for the taal, the thumri, and the twirl.

For a Sangeet performance, the outfit must be as vibrant as the celebration. I designed this custom tie-dye lehenga with a sparkling mirror-work halter blouse to reflect the client's personality and ensure she shines during her special dance.
It is an honor to be the costume partner for large-scale dance dramas and school productions. I create distinct costumes for entire groups, from divine mythological characters to graceful ensemble dancers, ensuring the entire production is visually cohesive and stunning.

About Featured
When you are on stage, your costume needs to perform as hard as you do. For Kathak, I use a specialized 12-meter 'Kali' panel construction. It ensures that when you spin, the skirt creates a full, dramatic circle that settles perfectly, without the fabric tangling around your ghungroos or restricting your footwork.
Beyond the Fabric
My approach to performance wear is technical. It starts with understanding your choreography. If you are a Kathak dancer, we prioritize the ghera and the weight of the hem so your spins look seamless under stage lights. For Sangeet or high-energy group performances, I shift to lighter materials like Rayon or Georgette, ensuring you can move freely without the weight of traditional heavy layers.
Construction That Lasts
I build these costumes to survive rehearsals and final performances:
- Sweat Control: Every outfit is lined with breathable Butter Crepe or Mulmul Cotton to manage perspiration.
- Secure Fits: Whether it is a halter blouse for a Sangeet dance or a heavy Anarkali, I integrate reinforced stitching at the armholes and side seams to handle high-velocity movements.
- Quick Changes: For group performances and dance dramas, I focus on hooks, velcro, and adjustable waistbands that allow for near-instant backstage costume changes.
Collaborative Design
Every piece begins with a conversation. We discuss your story, the music, and the visual theme of your production. You choose the fabrics and the embellishments, from mirror work to intricate embroidery. My goal is to make sure that when you step onto the stage in Gurugram, you feel like yourself, just more confident.
