Street and Documentary Photography in Delhi
I don't just click photos, I chase stories. Whether it’s the quiet corners of Old Delhi or the high-energy pulse of the city, I’m here to document life exactly as it unfolds.
An aerial view of thousands gathered for Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at the historic Jama Masjid in Delhi. This frame captures the immense scale of faith and community against the backdrop of the sprawling city.
A man walks through a narrow, shuttered alley in Old Delhi, illuminated by a single shaft of morning light. This is the kind of poetic, high-contrast moment I am always searching for in my street photography.
A portrait from the Holi festival, where a man's intense gaze pierces through a veil of vibrant red powder. This image captures the raw, visceral energy of the celebration.
The iconic multi-tiered roof of a pagoda in Kathmandu stands tall against a clear blue sky. This shot represents my passion for documenting the stunning architecture and heritage I encounter on my travels.
In the dead of night, a man finds rest atop his auto-rickshaw outside a Delhi railway station. It's a quiet, powerful image of resilience and a slice of life from my 24-hour documentary project.
A skater carves through the night at Mandi House, captured with a slow shutter to create a blur of motion and light. This image reflects the dynamic youth culture that pulses through Delhi's streets.
Two seagulls glide gracefully over the Yamuna River as the sun sets, creating a perfect silhouette against the golden sky. This is a moment of pure serenity amidst the city's constant motion.
A creative lifestyle portrait using a special warp filter to bend the city lights into a swirling vortex around the subject. This shows my experimental side, blending classic portraiture with modern, artistic techniques.
About Featured
I don't stage anything. When we shoot, I’m looking for the natural light and the honest reactions that happen when you stop worrying about the lens. My goal is to capture the version of you that exists when you are just being yourself, whether we are navigating a crowded bazaar or finding a quiet moment in a city park.
My Approach
Photography, to me, is about listening to the city. I do not believe in forcing a smile or holding an unnatural pose for hours. My sessions are about walking, talking, and observing. If we are doing an urban lifestyle portrait session, we pick a location that actually means something to you, and I work around the light, the shadows, and the environment to create frames that feel cinematic and real.
Why Fujifilm?
I shoot primarily on Fujifilm XT-series cameras. I love their color science—the way they handle highlights and shadows gives my work a specific, moody, and timeless feel without needing heavy post-processing. This allows me to deliver images that look like a memory, not a production.
Working with Me
- No Staging: I want the raw energy of a festival, the quiet concentration of a street artist, or the authentic vibe of your weekend. If you are looking for heavily retouched, catalog-style studio work, I am probably not the right fit.
- Locations: I know the nooks and crannies of Delhi NCR well—from the heritage sites in Old Delhi to the modern skate parks and urban streets. I am also always ready to travel if your project needs a fresh perspective in a different city.
- The Process: Whether it is a half-day cultural photo tour or a full-day commercial street campaign, I focus on the narrative. You will get high-resolution images that tell a cohesive story, with a quick turnaround time so you can actually use the content.
