I design living spaces that bridge the gap between modern functionality and the warmth of traditional Kerala architecture. My approach focuses on open layouts, natural materials, and greenery to create rooms that are grounded and comfortable.

My design process begins with high-definition 3D visualization. Before we start any actual work, I model your living room in 3ds Max and Corona so you can see the exact layout, lighting, and material finishes. This allows us to adjust furniture placement or wall textures digitally, ensuring the final build matches your expectations without surprises.
How I Approach Living Spaces
I view the living room as the heart of a home. My designs prioritize an open-plan concept that encourages airflow and light, reflecting the soul of Kerala homes while keeping the aesthetic contemporary. Whether it is a compact apartment in Bangalore or a villa in Kannur, my focus remains on material honesty.
My Design Elements
- Natural Materials: I incorporate exposed brick, natural wood, and concrete textures. I avoid artificial finishes because I believe the texture of real stone and timber brings life into a room.
- Biophilic Design: Plants are an integral part of my living room designs. I find clever ways to integrate greenery, from under-staircase planters to floor-to-ceiling windows that frame your private garden.
- Lighting Strategy: I use a combination of architectural magnetic track lights for task areas and warm, hidden cove lighting for atmosphere. This creates a space that works for quiet mornings and active evenings.
The Process
Once we finalize the 3D model, I provide comprehensive AutoCAD working drawings. This documentation includes electrical layouts, switch positions, and joinery details for your contractor. My goal is to ensure that the transition from the digital render to your physical home is smooth, predictable, and aligned with your vision for the space.
