A staircase can be the heart of a home's entrance. This spiral design elegantly ascends from a tranquil indoor garden, combining the structural function of a stair with the serenity of a natural courtyard.

This floating staircase in the Twin Courtyard House is a work of art. The teak wood steps appear to be suspended, creating a sense of lightness, while the wide lower steps provide a casual seating spot near the pooja room.11

A traditional Indian courtyard concept, reimagined. We used reclaimed stone pillars and a vertical garden wall to create a grand, green entrance that feels both rustic and deeply connected to nature.12
This view from the living room shows how the double-height space connects different levels of the home. The large indoor plants and abundant light from the skylights make the entire area feel like a single, open garden.
We turned this staircase into a feature by building an integrated planter at its base. This small indoor garden brings life and a touch of the outdoors to a transitional space, greeting you as you move through the home.
