Bold Geometric Structures in Exhibition Design
Architecture is more than just structure; it is how we frame a brand’s presence on the exhibition floor. We use intersecting planes and tapering forms to move beyond the boxy constraints of standard trade show booths.
The entrance to the Virgo exhibition stall is marked by a dramatic, tapering red form that funnels visitors into the space. This bold geometric element acts as a powerful landmark within the busy exhibition hall.
A key feature of the Virgo stall is this domed, rib-like wooden structure that creates a semi-private meeting space. It offers a fascinating contrast to the more angular elements of the pavilion design.
The long facade of the Virgo stall showcases the brand's identity with a bold red wall and large-scale graphics. The design uses translucent panels and strong vertical lines to create a visually engaging and impressive presence.
This interior view of the Virgo pavilion shows how the overhead structural elements and pillars define the space. The combination of wood textures and red accents creates a cohesive and branded environment for meetings and product displays.
The interplay of light and shadow on the geometric volumes of the Virgo stall. The use of pendant lights and spotlights highlights the architectural details and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere.

This angle highlights the various product display systems integrated into the Virgo stall's architecture. The design provides a functional and aesthetically pleasing framework for showcasing laminates, aluminum, and plywood.
For RP Plywood, we designed a 72 sq.m stall with a dramatic, unibody structure. The concept features a tapering form that opens to create entry points, finished in a textured red paint for a monolithic appearance.
The geometric complexity of the RP Plywood stall is visible from this angle, with faceted surfaces and a strong sense of verticality. The illuminated logo is integrated directly into the architectural form.
Inside the RP Plywood stall, a live-edge wooden table provides a natural contrast to the modern, geometric trellis wall. This area was designed for detailed discussions and reviewing product catalogues.
About Bold Geometric Structures
Achieving these geometries under strict exhibition time constraints requires rigorous structural planning. For the Virgo pavilion, we engineered massive tapering columns that had to be fabricated and finished within a 36-hour window, ensuring the aesthetic remained distinct without relying on temporary-looking materials.
When we design exhibition pavilions with bold geometric structures, the primary challenge is maintaining high-impact aesthetics while adhering to venue regulations and aggressive turnaround times. Our process begins by manipulating mass and void to command attention in crowded halls.
We frequently utilize MS (Mild Steel) fabrication to achieve large spans and verticality. For the RP Plywood pavilion, we implemented a unibody tapered form finished in textured paint to create a monolithic statement. This geometry was calculated not just for visual impact, but to guide visitor flow toward specific entry points.
To achieve clean, architectural lines, we prioritize materials like flexi-ply and MDF for curves, while using airless spray painting to ensure consistent coverage over large surfaces. This combination of structural steel and lightweight cladding allows us to deliver complex forms—including double-height volumes in projects exceeding 1,500 sq. ft.—without exceeding site weight limits.
Geometry also serves functional needs. In the Realply setup, we utilized linear circulation and intersecting veneer-clad volumes to manage heavy footfall, creating a socio-interactive aisle that functions as effectively as it looks. Whether it is a compact 72 sq. ft. stall or a massive pavilion, the goal is to transform the temporary exhibition booth into a structured architectural landmark.
