A view of a finished landscaping project where I used a mix of geometric topiary shapes. A central spiral topiary acts as a focal point, complemented by rows of smaller globe-shaped topiaries that line the paved path.
These tall, cone-shaped topiaries are perfect for creating vertical accents and a sense of formality in a garden. They are grown to be dense and uniform, available in various heights to suit different landscape scales.
A well-lit view of my cone-shaped topiaries, highlighting their vibrant green color and healthy, dense foliage. These are excellent for creating elegant borders, entryways, or standalone features.
This is one of my abstract topiary designs, shaped like an elegant vase. It's a unique piece of living art that combines the precision of sculpture with the natural beauty of a plant, perfect for a statement corner.

A simple yet perfectly formed globe-shaped shrub, showcasing the fundamental topiary skills I apply to all my work. This versatile plant can be used in rows for hedging or as a standalone accent in any garden bed.
About Geometric & Abstract Shapes
These pieces are not just trimmed from wild bushes; they are grown over custom mild steel frames to hold their shape permanently. Because we use vigorous varieties like Ficus and Clerodendrum, the foliage fills in densely to hide the metal completely, but you must be prepared to clip them every three to four weeks during the growing season to maintain that sharp, geometric edge.
How We Build Our Topiaries
We do not simply prune a shrub and call it a topiary. Every geometric piece we supply is the result of two to three years of controlled growth. We start with a custom welded mild steel mesh skeleton. Our team trains young Ficus or Clerodendrum inerme plants to grow through this frame. By the time a piece reaches your garden, the foliage is already dense enough to make the wire frame invisible, creating a solid, living sculpture.
Choosing Your Shape
- Cones and Spirals: These work best as vertical accents. They are perfect for lining pathways or framing an entrance, providing height without taking up much ground space.
- Spheres: Used for formal borders or as standalone accents in low-maintenance gravel gardens.
- Vase Forms: These are our abstract centerpiece options, ideal for corners or as focal points where you want an artistic, sculptural element rather than a standard tree.
Maintenance Expectations
While these plants are acclimatized to outdoor sunlight in Bengaluru, they are living art. The structure is fixed by the frame, but the density is up to you. During monsoons and summer, the plant will grow fast. If you do not clip the new growth every three to four weeks, the shape will soften and lose its geometric precision. We deliver them freshly pruned, but long-term appearance depends on your commitment to regular trimming.
Delivery and Installation
These are substantial items. Because they are potted in a heavy-weight mix of red earth, compost, and cocopeat to prevent tipping, they are heavy. We supply them in nursery bags or plastic tubs. Please note that transport requires a commercial mini truck, as these pieces cannot be squeezed into a standard car.
