Garden Details and Plant Styling

True sanctuary is found in the finishing touches. From bespoke container arrangements to curated entryway planters, I focus on the small details that turn your outdoor area into a personal retreat.

This is a close-up of a low-maintenance garden bed I designed using a mix of gravel, river stones, and drought-tolerant plants. The different colors and textures create a visually interesting and modern look.

The right planters can make a statement. Here, two large, modern planters flank an entryway, with uplighting to highlight the plants and create a dramatic, welcoming effect at night.

I create custom potted arrangements like this "Happy Bowl," which combines plants with different leaf shapes, colors, and textures. A single, well-designed container can bring a burst of life to a patio or garden corner.

My work also extends to indoor plant styling. Here, I used a wooden partition with built-in shelves for potted plants and a large Monstera to bring the feeling of a lush garden into the living room.

I love adding whimsical details to a garden. A small, playful statue like this squirrel peeking out from the grass can bring a sense of joy and surprise to the landscape.

About this collection

I select plants not just for their appearance, but for how they thrive in your home's unique light and airflow conditions. Whether it is sourcing the right FRP planter to withstand the sun or balancing leaf textures in a custom arrangement, these practical choices ensure your space remains a low-maintenance sanctuary rather than a chore.

Bringing Personality to Your Outdoors

Most people think a garden is just about the lawn or the layout, but the soul of the space is in the details. I treat every container, statue, and corner as an opportunity to add character. If you have a small balcony, we don't just add pots. We look at the scale of your furniture, the height of your wall, and the way the evening light hits your floor to choose plants that make the space feel larger and more inviting.

My Approach to Styling

  • Curated Containers: I avoid generic nursery plastic. I prefer high-quality FRP, ceramic, or stone planters that complement your architecture. A single, well-placed focal plant in the right vessel creates a stronger design statement than twenty mismatched pots.
  • Layering Textures: Just like interior design, a garden needs layers. I mix broad-leaf plants like Monstera or Areca palms with finer textures to create depth. This is how we achieve that lush, tropical feel even in tight Bangalore apartments.
  • The 'Happy Bowl' Concept: My signature bowl arrangements are designed to be mobile focal points. They provide an instant burst of greenery and color that you can move to follow the shade or to refresh your patio vibe for guests.
  • Artful Hardscaping: From whimsical statues that hide in the grass to river pebble borders that define a walkway, I use decorative elements to add a touch of joy and surprise. These aren't just decorations; they are conversation starters.

Maintenance-Free Beauty

I design for your lifestyle. If you want a green look but don't have the time for daily watering, I incorporate high-quality artificial green walls or hardy succulents that look fresh year-round. Every element we add, from the soil mix to the drainage cells, is chosen to minimize your upkeep while maximizing the aesthetic impact.

I started MyCloudforest because I wanted to help people find a bit of calm in the city's constant rush. I look at a bare balcony and see a place to breathe, not just a place to store things. We mix your personal style with plants that actually grow here, so you end up with a slice of quiet right at your doorstep.
