About Wholesome Lunch & Dinner Menus
My rice-based meals are made with freshly ground masalas, not store-bought powders. When I prepare a Vangibhath or Bisibelebhath for your event, I grind the spices the same morning, which gives it that aromatic, home-cooked scent you do not get in large catering services. This is why the flavor stays vibrant even when served in bulk.
The Agraane Kitchen Difference
When I say my food is homemade, I mean it. I run Agraane Kitchen from my own space, ensuring that every meal—whether a simple lunchbox or a full buffet—is prepared with the same care I would give to my own family. My philosophy is 'Ellu bella tindu olle maatadona' (Let's eat sesame and jaggery and speak good words), and that reflects in the ingredients I choose.
Why My Rice Baths are Different
Many caterers use pre-packaged spice mixes, but I prefer the traditional way. For my Vangibhath, the spice powder is ground fresh in my kitchen. For dishes like Methi Capsicum Rice or Sasive Kobbari Chitranna, I ensure the vegetables are hand-cut and the tempering is done using pure ghee. This process takes time, but it ensures that the food doesn't sit heavy in your stomach—a common complaint with commercial catering.
Customization for Every Occasion
My lunch and dinner services are fully flexible.
- Corporate Lunch Boxes: If you have an office meeting, I provide 5-compartment trays that are easy to manage and completely mess-free.
- Family Get-Togethers: Planning a small house party? I can curate a menu that includes a mix of rice varieties, traditional sambar, rasam, and sides like palya.
- Health & Hygiene: I never reuse oil. I believe that healthy food should taste good, which is why I use high-quality ingredients and maintain strict cleanliness standards.
Whether you are hosting 25 people or 200, the consistency remains the same. I am happy to tweak the menu, adjust spice levels, or provide 'no onion-garlic' preparations upon request. Just let me know what you need, and I will prepare it fresh for your delivery.
Agraane Kitchen
I started Agraane Kitchen in my own home, cooking the kind of food that reminds me of ajji's recipes. Every meal I prepare follows my simple rule: pure ghee, fresh ingredients, and absolutely no reused oil. I want my cooking to feel like a warm hug from home.
