About Celebrating Milestones

When our Grade 5 students transition to middle school, they participate in our 'Crossing the Bridge' ceremony. It is a moment of reflection and celebration that marks their growth from elementary children to middle schoolers, ensuring they feel supported and excited for the new academic chapter.

We view every transition as an opportunity to build community and celebrate individual growth. Our 'Moving Up' ceremonies are woven into the fabric of the AES experience, whether it is an elementary student performing in a farewell assembly or a high school senior capturing memories on their 'Last First Day.'

These are not just events. They are rituals that reinforce the 'Once a Tiger, always a Tiger' spirit. In high school, our seniors participate in traditions like the 'Last First Day,' creating space for them to reflect on their journey through the IB Diploma Program and their future paths. We document these milestones to show that learning is not just about the destination but the community built along the way. Whether you are exploring our elementary programs or our high school pathways, you are joining a 73-year-old legacy in Chanakyapuri that values belonging above all else.
