Working on a cast to handstand on the parallel bars. This is an advanced skill that requires significant upper body strength, and I'm right there to spot and guide the athlete.
This video shows a variety of skills in action, including a gymnast practicing her vault approach and another working on a handstand on the beam. Our training covers all artistic gymnastics apparatus.
About Skills on Bars & Vault
It's all about the contact. When we work on bar drills like the toe shoot or casting to handstand, I'm right there spotting to make sure you get the rhythm and body shape down safely before you attempt it solo.
Gymnastics on the bars and vault is as much about mental focus as it is about physical strength. In our Bellandur training center, we strip away the shortcuts and focus on building the raw power needed for these apparatuses.
Why Technique Matters
You cannot fake your way through a vault or a bar routine. We start with conditioning—leg lifts, wall bars, and flexibility training—to ensure your body is ready for the impact. Once the foundation is set, we move to the apparatus. For the uneven bars, we focus on the kip and giant swings, using the foam pit and crash mats so you can push your limits without the fear of a bad landing.
Safety First, Progress Always
My policy is no excuses, but safety is the one area where we never compromise. Whether you are learning a simple walk on the balance beam or preparing for a Tsukahara vault, I am there to spot you. We use high-density crash mats and supervised foam pit training to ensure that when you fall—and you will fall—you get back up and try again until you nail the movement.
We cater to both recreational students and those training for the ISSO Nationals. The approach is the same: consistent, hard work. If you are ready to put in the time to get stronger and cleaner in your routines, we have the space and the equipment waiting for you.
