Special Ceremony Decoration for Traditional Rituals
From intimate bangle ceremonies to sacred wedding rituals, I create setups that honor your traditions with fresh floral arrangements and authentic decor elements.
This is a special setup I created for a traditional bangle ceremony ('baale shastra'). The backdrop features a carved wooden arch, banana plants, and hanging strings of jasmine and roses, with traditional brass lamps completing the look.
This video shows my team's detailed work in creating a 'sapthapadi' floral carpet. We use fresh marigold petals to create intricate patterns on the floor, including the sacred footsteps for the couple's seven vows.
About this collection
I focus on the stability of our carved wooden arches and the precision of our petal carpets, ensuring that high-traffic areas like your sapthapadi floor remain intact and neat throughout the entire ceremony. My team prepares every element to withstand the movement of a busy event, so you don't have to worry about the setup falling apart while you are busy with rituals.
Whether you are hosting a traditional 'baale shastra' (bangle ceremony) at home or a formal wedding ritual, the environment should feel sacred and well-prepared. I treat these small-scale setups with the same attention to detail that I bring to a grand reception stage.
My Approach to Traditional Setups
- Precision in Ritual Spaces: For sapthapadi floral carpets, we use fresh marigold petals to create clean, vibrant patterns. I ensure these are laid out to handle the couple's movement without looking messy.
- Authentic Elements: I incorporate real brass lamps (samay), banana leaves, and hand-carved wooden structures rather than just using plastic props. This brings a genuine, traditional feel to your photos.
- Flexible Installation: Whether you have a small living room in Hassan or a community hall in Bangalore, I adapt the backdrop dimensions to fit your space perfectly without making it feel cramped.
- End-to-End Responsibility: You do not need to coordinate with different people for flowers, lighting, or seating. I bring the team, handle the setup, and ensure everything is cleared away after the ritual, so your family can focus entirely on the celebration.
I work across Hassan, Bangalore, Mysore, and Chikmagalur. If you have specific ritual items or a particular family tradition you want to incorporate into the decor, just let me know. I am happy to customize the setup to match your family's customs.
