About Bridal & Groom Portraits
When shooting bridal portraits, I prioritize finding a quiet space away from the main venue activity. We spend about 20 minutes focusing on the small details, like how your jewellery sits or your reflection, which allows you to relax and results in much more natural, elegant photographs than forced poses ever could.
A wedding day moves fast, and portraits are often the only time you get to pause. My approach is to strip back the noise of the event. Whether it is capturing the intricacy of your mehndi, the specific way a dupatta falls, or the sharp details of a groom's attire, I aim for images that feel intentional rather than rushed.
For brides, I love using soft window light or dramatic shadow play during the getting-ready phase. This is when you are most composed, and it is the perfect window to get those shots of you admiring your jewellery or reflecting in the mirror before the ceremony begins.
For grooms, we focus on sharp, clean portraits. I look for textures—the fabric of your sherwani, the fit of your turban, or that moment of calm anticipation before the Baraat starts.
If you are planning a shoot in Mumbai, I can suggest venues that offer the right light and background for these portraits. We do not need a studio to get high-end results; a quiet corner of your hotel suite or a well-lit patch of the venue often creates the best, most authentic look. Reach out if you want to discuss timing for your portraits, especially if you have a specific vision for your bridal look.
