About Me: The Plant Parent Journey

Gardening is more than a hobby. It is my way of connecting with nature and with Kannaya. These moments reflect the growth, challenges, and joy of my 20 years.

Thank you everyone for the lovely birthday wishes. As I turn 20, I look back at the lessons, struggles, and growth. This journey has not been easy, but with Krishna's grace, I am excited for what is to come.

A picture from my 20th birthday. Every challenge has been a teacher, and every plant has taught me patience. I am grateful for this journey and for all your support.

About this collection

Gardening at 20 has taught me that patience is just as important as the right soil mix. I have faced many plant losses, but those challenges taught me how to diagnose root rot and manage natural pest control better. Every failure became a lesson in my organic journey.

My journey started with a few seeds and a small terrace. It was not always easy. There were days when pests destroyed my hard work and seasons where nothing seemed to bloom. Yet, each struggle taught me to observe, listen, and adapt.

I believe in gardening as a spiritual practice. When I offer the blooms from my garden to the lotus feet of Kannaya, it brings me peace. This mindset shapes how I care for plants. I do not use harsh chemicals. Instead, I use neem oil, composting, and traditional methods like Jeevamrutham to keep plants healthy. My approach is simple, organic, and accessible to anyone with a balcony or a small terrace in Anantapur.

My Approach to Gardening

  • Soil Health: I focus on homemade compost, balancing greens and browns to ensure the soil is nutrient-rich without any bad odor.
  • Natural Pest Control: I use simple, homemade neem solutions. Nature often provides the answer if you are patient enough to look.
  • Seasonal Care: Every season requires a change in routine, whether it is mulching in the summer or drainage checks in the monsoon.

Whether you want to grow vegetables, set up a pooja garden, or just learn how to make compost, I am happy to share what I have learned. Let us grow together, one pot at a time.
