- Vermicompost & Neem Cake: These are my staples for building strong roots and preventing soil-borne pests.
- Liquid Vitalizers: I show you how to make nutrient-rich feeds using simple kitchen waste like onion peels and used tea powder.
- Balancing the Blend: A successful container garden uses a 40:30:30 ratio of garden soil, cocopeat, and compost. This mix ensures your pots stay light yet nutrient-dense.
Seasonal Care & Maintenance
Plants behave differently throughout the year, and your care routine must adapt.
- Summer Protection: I use mulching with coconut husk to keep the soil cool and advise on proper watering techniques to avoid evaporation.
- Pruning for Growth: Whether it is hibiscus or fruit plants, knowing when to prune is essential. I guide you on timing your cuts to encourage bushy, healthy growth rather than leggy stems.
- Repotting: I help you understand when it is time to move your plants to larger pots so they don't get root-bound, preventing the shock that often causes plants to wither.
