About Behind the Decks
When I am at the console, it is not just about playing tracks. I am watching your crowd, reading the room, and jumping in with the mic to keep the energy spikey. Whether it is getting your parents to jump in for a 2000s throwback or keeping the bass heavy at 4 AM, my goal is to make sure you have a wild night that feels like your own personal party.
My approach is simple: I don't hide behind a laptop. I am a Mumbai DJ who believes the party is only as good as the crowd's energy, which is why I focus on interactive sets. My gear—the Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 and DJM 900NXS2—is my command center, but the real work happens in the blend.
I mix Bollywood with Tech House and AfroDesi, moving away from static, pre-recorded playlists. If you hire me for a Sangeet, expect a 'Desi Boiler Room' vibe that gets sweaty and loud. If you want a Baraat that actually moves, my mobile console setup on a truck is designed to keep the energy high from the first beat to the last.
I travel across India for destination weddings, but my home base is Mumbai. I cover everything from reception after-parties that run until sunrise to intimate cocktail events. We will sync up before your event to finalize a 'Do Not Play' list and ensure the custom mashups for your first dance or entry are exactly how you imagined.
