A great after-party isn't just about playing loud music. I spend time before your event to understand your crowd's must-play tracks and build a set that transitions from retro Bollywood classics for the family to high-octane tech house for the younger crew, ensuring nobody leaves the dance floor early.
I treat every after-party like a live performance, not a playlist on shuffle. When you book me for your Sangeet or Reception marathon, you get more than just a guy behind a laptop. I use industry-standard Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 gear to ensure the sound quality matches the energy.
My approach is built on two phases. Phase one is all about the family, playing the retro and commercial Bollywood hits that get everyone from your parents to your cousins moving. As the night progresses, I shift into my signature BollyTech and AfroDesi mixes. This is where I turn the venue into a proper Desi Boiler Room.
I believe in being active, not passive. I’m on the mic making announcements, engaging with the crowd, and sometimes I even invite the bride and groom to step behind the console for a photo op. If you want a specific custom mashup, like an AP Dhillon track blended with something nostalgic, I handle the production myself before the big day. We can go through your do-not-play list and your favourite genres in a virtual meeting beforehand, so you know exactly what to expect when the console lights up.
