About Mumbai Nightlife: Club Gigs
Unlike private events, club gigs are pure spontaneity. I do not follow a rigid tracklist because the vibe changes every twenty minutes. I am reading the room, mixing my BollyTech and AfroDesi beats in real-time, and waiting for that exact moment when the crowd is locked in to drop the next bassline.
Playing at a club in Mumbai is a completely different beast compared to a wedding. While weddings give me the structure to build a narrative, clubs are all about raw energy and keeping the momentum high for hours. My goal is simple: if the dance floor is packed, I am doing my job right.
The Club Vibe
Whether I am playing at a spot like BLounge or hosting a pop-up gig elsewhere in the city, the approach remains the same. I start by gauging the room. Is the crowd looking for familiar Bollywood hits, or are they ready to experiment with some Tech House and AfroDesi? I mix live, constantly tweaking the EQ and swapping tracks on the fly. You will see me using CO2 cannons and interacting with the crowd because, for me, the DJ booth is not a wall. It is the bridge between the music and the people.
Why My Sets Feel Different
I do not just hit play. I curate blocks of music. I might start with some classic 2000s throwbacks that everyone knows, then pivot into a deep tech house breakdown, and finish with a heavy bass edit that keeps the crowd moving until 5 AM. If you have been to one of my shows, you know I love bringing that 'Desi Boiler Room' atmosphere to the club floor, where the line between the DJ and the audience just disappears.

I bring my own technical knowledge to the table. I know how to coordinate with the sound engineer for sub-woofer calibration and monitor levels.
