Political Illustration & Activist Art

My art is my protest. From digital portraits that spark hard conversations to illustrations for social causes, I use my iPad to process the world's messes.

"The Head of a Child." I painted this because I couldn't unsee the horror. No argument or religion is worth a child's life. This is my response to the ongoing genocide.

For Inktober for Palestine, I illustrated the Palestinian key. It's a powerful symbol of homes lost during the Nakba and the enduring hope for the right to return.

"Raising a revolutionary child, is also a protest." In a world filled with hate, teaching our children to be politically aware and compassionate is a radical act of resistance.

An animated version of my "Vote Chori" illustration. The movement adds a layer of urgency to the message about protecting our democratic rights.

A small but deeply meaningful painting dedicated to sex workers in India. This piece is an acknowledgment of their rights and a call for dignity and justice.

A quote from Periyar: "Self Respect and Intelligence are the beauty of humankind." His philosophy on feminism and social justice is a guiding force in my life and work.

An animated illustration of the Keffiyeh, a symbol of Palestinian identity and resistance. This was my contribution to a prompt for Inktober for Palestine.

A digital painting processing the grief and anger over the situation in Palestine. Art is how I make sense of the messes inside and out.

Titled "Gazan," this piece reflects on the countless lives affected by the violence. Each face represents a story, a person, a universe lost.

A closer look at the textures and colors in "The Head of a Child." The abstract nature conveys an emotion that is too overwhelming for realistic depiction.

About Art as Activism

I work primarily with digital files, providing you with high-resolution prints that are ready to frame or publish. Whether you need a cover for a book or a campaign visual that demands attention, I handle the conceptualization, research, and technical execution, delivering your project within 6-10 hours of focused painting.

For me, illustration isn't about decoration; it's a tool for truth. My work in this cluster—spanning from symbols of resistance like the Palestinian key to portraits of revolutionary motherhood—is deeply rooted in the belief that art should make us uncomfortable enough to care.

I approach each commission as a collaboration of intent. We start with a 30-45 minute consultation to align on the narrative and the emotional weight of the piece. I focus on symbolic metaphors and period accuracy rather than pure realism, ensuring the message cuts through the noise. Using an iPad Pro with a paper-like screen protector, I mimic the texture of traditional paints while maintaining the versatility of digital art.

You receive a high-resolution file (300-600 DPI) suitable for everything from posters to book covers, including a 30-second time-lapse of the creation process. Because I believe art should be accessible, I deliver these as digital files, skipping the shipping drama and letting you print them locally on the paper or fabric of your choice. If you’re looking to bring a specific social cause or personal truth to life, reach out. Let’s make something that lasts.
