Restore your digestive fire and clear out toxins with a diet tailored to your unique dosha. We focus on healing the root cause of your IBS, acidity, and bloating through personalized nutritional plans.

How you drink water during meals significantly impacts digestion. As Acharya Vagbhat suggested, your stomach should be half solid food, a quarter liquid, and a quarter empty. Excessive water can dilute digestive juices and hinder the process.

To boost digestion, especially during seasons like monsoon when Agni is weak, we recommend light, freshly cooked meals. Incorporating digestive spices like ginger, cumin, coriander, and turmeric is a simple yet powerful way to support your gut.

The temperature of your water matters. We advise against ice-cold or refrigerated water as it weakens the digestive fire. Room temperature or slightly warm water is ideal for maintaining healthy digestion and metabolic function.

The practice of 'Ushapan', or drinking water in the morning, is a powerful ritual. It helps kickstart your metabolism, relieves constipation, and aids in weight management by flushing out toxins accumulated overnight.

For 'Ushapan', we recommend about 650 ml of water that has been stored overnight. Using a copper or silver vessel is particularly beneficial as it infuses the water with trace minerals that have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Timing your water intake is crucial. Drinking a glass of water 30-45 minutes before a meal can prepare your digestive system. However, avoid excessive water immediately before eating as it can dilute digestive juices and cause indigestion.

We warn against drinking water immediately after a meal, as it can be detrimental to digestion. It is best to wait about 60 minutes, allowing the body to process food without diluting the essential stomach acids required for digestion.

Fatty liver occurs from excess fat buildup, often due to an unhealthy diet. Ayurveda provides excellent support for liver function by addressing the root cause of this accumulation, preventing inflammation and long-term damage.

For liver health, we use well-researched herbs like Kutaki, Guduchi, and Bhumyamalaki. Combined with Panchakarma therapies like Virechana and lifestyle modifications, we can reduce liver inflammation and improve your overall metabolism.

For managing conditions like diabetes, a balanced diet is non-negotiable. We guide patients on healthy eating habits to help manage blood sugar levels naturally, as seen here with a patient checking their levels.

About Ayurvedic Nutrition for a Healthy Gut

Most people assume drinking water is simple, but in Ayurveda, the timing and temperature change everything. Drinking ice-cold water or chugging water immediately after a meal can douse your 'Agni' (digestive fire), leading to the accumulation of 'Ama' (toxins) that causes bloating and chronic acidity. We recommend specific room-temperature water protocols and meal-time adjustments to ensure your metabolism functions exactly as it should.

Your gut health is the foundation of your overall well-being. When your digestive fire is weak, food is not broken down correctly, leading to the formation of 'Ama'—a sticky, toxic byproduct that clogs your system. Whether you struggle with chronic IBS, unpredictable bowel movements, or persistent acidity, these symptoms are just signals of a deeper dosha imbalance.

Our approach begins with Digital Nadi Parikshan. This technology allows us to map your internal bio-energies (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) and get an accurate reading of your toxin levels. Once we understand your specific constitution, we move beyond generic diet advice. You receive a personalized 'Pathya Apathya' (Do’s and Don’ts) chart tailored to your needs.

We guide you on everything from the order in which you eat your food to the inclusion of bitter herbs that naturally regulate metabolism. Our plans include specific guidance on fiber-rich grains like millet and barley, and the appropriate use of spices like turmeric and cumin to reignite your digestive fire. We do not just tell you what to avoid; we teach you how to eat for your unique body type so you can maintain a healthy gut long after the consultation.
