Ayurvedic Pain Management and Treatment
We identify the root cause of your joint and muscle pain using digital diagnostics, then use targeted Panchakarma therapies to help you move freely again.
A close-up of Janu Basti, our specialized treatment for chronic knee pain and osteoarthritis. The warm, medicated oil deeply penetrates the knee joint to reduce pain, improve flexibility, and strengthen the surrounding muscles and ligaments.
This is Kati Basti, a highly effective therapy for lower back pain and sciatica. Similar to Janu Basti, a reservoir holds warm oil over the lumbar region, relieving muscle spasms, stiffness, and nerve compression by nourishing the area.
Patra Pottali Sweda is a therapeutic massage using poultices filled with medicinal leaves. This treatment is excellent for relaxing muscles, improving circulation, and alleviating pain and stiffness in conditions like arthritis and spondylosis.
We use treatments like Upanaha, a warm herbal poultice, to repair injuries naturally. This therapy speeds up healing, reduces inflammation, and provides targeted pain relief for sports injuries and muscular sprains.
This image shows Shirodhara, a key part of Panchakarma therapy. While known for stress relief, it also plays a role in managing chronic pain by calming the nervous system, which is often aggravated by long-term pain conditions.
Our 'Restore' phase uses Panchakarma treatments like Abhyanga (full body massage) and Pottali Sweda (poultice massage) to regain strength and vitality. This is not a spa treatment but a deep, therapeutic process to remove toxins and rejuvenate the body.
Chronic back and shoulder pain can be debilitating. Our expert care focuses on identifying the source of the pain, whether it's muscular or skeletal, and applying specific Ayurvedic treatments to restore comfort and mobility.
We offer a specialized approach to neuromuscular well-being. This image depicts a practitioner assessing muscle tension, a key step before applying therapies that ease discomfort and improve the connection between nerves and muscles.
Nasya therapy, the nasal administration of medicated oil, is highly effective for pain in the head and neck region. It helps relieve chronic migraines, sinusitis, and cervical spondylosis by clearing and nourishing the channels of the head.
Abhyangam, or warm Ayurvedic oil massage, is fundamental to pain management. This therapy helps remove deep-seated toxins from the muscles, improves circulation, and enhances vitality, preparing the body for deeper treatments.
About Our Specialized Pain Treatments
Instead of simply masking your pain with temporary relief, we begin by identifying the accumulation of aam (toxins) in your system using Digital Nadi Parikshan. Whether it is a chronic knee issue or recurring back pain, our therapies like Janu Basti or Kati Basti are designed to nourish the tissues and restore joint mobility from the inside out, rather than providing a superficial fix.
Chronic pain is often your body's signal that there is an underlying imbalance, usually a Vata aggravation that leads to stiffness, inflammation, and restricted movement. In our clinical experience, masking this with pills only delays the inevitable. We treat the disease at its accumulation point, not just the symptom.
Our Diagnostic & Treatment Approach
We start with Digital Nadi Parikshan, an AI-powered pulse diagnosis that identifies the specific Dosha imbalance causing your pain. This allows us to customize your treatment protocol rather than applying a generic solution.
- For Knee and Joint Pain: We use Janu Basti, a localized oil retention therapy. By pooling warm, medicated oil over the knee joint, we allow the therapeutic properties of the herbs to penetrate deep into the connective tissues, providing lubrication and reducing friction.
- For Lower Back and Spinal Issues: Kati Basti focuses on the lumbar region. This is particularly effective for sciatica, disc issues, and chronic lower back stiffness, as it calms the Vata nerves and relaxes deep muscle spasms.
- For Instant Pain Neutralization: In cases of severe, acute pain, we perform Agnikarma, a traditional thermal procedure that provides near-instant relief by managing the localized inflammation.
- For Systemic Recovery: Our 7-Day Intensive Recovery Program is our most comprehensive protocol. It combines localized Abhyanga (massage), Swedana (herbal steam), and Basti (medicated enema) to flush out the aam that has settled in your joints.
This is not a spa service. Every session is carried out by trained technicians under the supervision of a senior B.A.M.S or M.D. physician, ensuring that your path to mobility is guided by proper medical assessment.
