Global Single-Tone Color
Consultation & Setup
- Shade Selection: 10-15 minute mapping using standard L'Oreal/Matrix shade cards to select target colors (Chocolates, Mochas, Burgundies).
- Prep: Application of hairline barrier cream to prevent staining and ear covers for protection.
Application Process
- Product: Professional permanent hair color tubes (L'Oreal Majirel, Matrix SoColor, or Schwarzkopf).
- Method: Full length application from roots to ends.
- Development: 35 to 45 minutes processing time with 20, 30, or 40 volume developer depending on lift required.
Finish
- Wash: Cleansing with color-safe professional shampoo.
- Conditioning: 5-7 minute application of color-protect conditioner or basic mask at the backwash.
- Styling: Blow-dry followed by signature tong styling (waves or curls).
Highlights, Balayage & Ombre
Technique Options
- Style Choice: Select between Classic Highlights (foiling), Balayage (hand-painted), or Ombre (graduated ends).
- Pattern: Standard weaving or slicing based on desired density.
Lightening Phase
- Bleaching: Application of professional Blonder powder to lift natural pigment.
- Isolation: Usage of aluminium foils (approx. 15-30 foils) for sectioning and heat retention.
- Bonding: Basic bond protection mixing during the chemical process.
Toning & Finish
- Demi-Permanent Toner: Global application to cut yellow/orange undertones and achieve Ash/Beige finishes.
- Treatment: Cool water rinse followed by a hydrating mask to counteract dryness.
- Styling: Blow-dry and curling wand styling to accentuate the dimensional color contrast.
Vibrant Fashion Colors (Double Process)
Step 1: Pre-Lightening
- Global Bleach: Full saturation with pre-lightener to lift hair to a pale yellow or platinum base.
- Canvas Check: Spot correction to ensure an even base for vibrant pigment absorption.
Step 2: Color Deposit
- Direct Dye: Application of semi-permanent fashion shades (e.g., Blood Red, Electric Blue, Hot Pink).
- Custom Blends: Mixing specific pigments to match reference images (e.g., mixing Blue and Green for Teal).
- Saturation: High-volume product application to prevent patchiness.
Post-Care & Finish
- Sealing: Cold water rinse to lock in pigment and minimize immediate bleeding.
- Cleanup: Specific removal of dye stains from neck and ears.
- Styling: Gentle blow-dry and finish.
