Getting a tattoo covered or concealing a scar isn't just about hiding the past. It’s about creating art you’re proud to wear. At our Safdarjung studio, we specialize in breathing new life into old ink and scars with custom designs that flow perfectly with your body.

This video showcases a complete transformation, covering an old arm tattoo with a dynamic Japanese koi fish design. The use of deep blacks and vibrant blues ensures the old ink is no longer visible, replaced by a symbol of strength.

Here you can see the before and after of a feather tattoo cover-up. I used a black and grey floral design with dark, leafy accents to effectively conceal the old tattoo, creating a much bolder and more artistic piece on the forearm.

This minimalist mountain range tattoo was designed specifically to cover a wrist scar. By placing the design directly over the scar, we turned an old mark into a beautiful and meaningful piece of art.

This collage shows how I covered a prominent scar on the forearm with a colorful depiction of Lord Krishna's flute and a peacock feather. The new design's placement and vibrant colors draw the eye away from the scar tissue underneath.

A before-and-after look at covering an old name tattoo. I used a bold, black and grey leaf design to completely obscure the previous script, providing a fresh canvas for the client.

This client wanted to cover a scar on their wrist. We chose a classic black and grey rose, a design that offers enough detail and shading to effectively mask the scar tissue beneath it.

This video shows a small heart tattoo on the ribs being covered by a powerful eagle. The new design is significantly larger and more detailed, demonstrating that even small tattoos can be transformed into major statement pieces.

This piece was designed to cover up a scar on the forearm. The client chose a detailed composition of a skull and snake, and I used intricate line work and shading to integrate the scar into the texture of the tattoo.

This dragon tattoo was a cover-up piece. The flowing body and detailed scales of the dragon provided excellent coverage for the old tattoo, replacing it with a symbol of power and wisdom.

Another angle of the dragon cover-up, showing how the design wraps around the arm. Careful placement is key in cover-ups to ensure the new art flows naturally with the body.

About Transformations: Cover-Ups & Scar Concealment

Cover-ups are not just about painting over old work. We look at the saturation of your existing tattoo or the depth and texture of your scar first, then design a piece that uses specific placement, darker shades, or complex patterns to ensure the old ink is completely integrated and invisible.
