We bring heritage, comfort, and character to hospitality spaces, turning grand lobbies and intimate dining rooms into stories that guests remember.

This lounge at the Taj Devi Ratn in Jaipur was designed to feel both grand and inviting. I used a palette of deep blues and vibrant oranges, with custom-designed rugs and wall panels featuring Mughal-inspired motifs, all overlooking the serene Aravalli hills.

A suite at the Taj Devi Ratn, Jaipur, where I blended classic paneling with traditional Indian art. The design creates a sophisticated living space that connects to an outdoor patio, weaving a story of indoor luxury and natural beauty.

In this seating area at the Taj Devi Ratn, a vibrant blue sofa sits before a stunning art installation. I created this patchwork of framed textiles to serve as a focal point, celebrating the rich diversity of Indian fabrics and patterns.

Another view of a suite at the Taj Devi Ratn, where I used a large, abstract circular rug to anchor the space. The room features custom wall art and recessed, floral-patterned light panels, creating layers of texture and visual interest.

This whimsical bedroom suite at the Taj Devi Ratn features a custom-designed wallpaper with hot air balloons and flamingos. The design, paired with flowing canopy drapes and rich blue curtains, creates a dreamlike and luxurious escape.

Sunlight streams into this vibrant sitting area at the Taj Devi Ratn. I chose bold yellow peacock chairs and a colorful rug to complement the warm, textured walls and large-scale floral art, creating a cheerful and artistic corner.

The Oriental Pavilion at Taj Devi Ratn, where I used cherry blossom motifs on upholstery and walls to evoke the elegance of East Asia. The combination of rich reds and blues creates a warm, inviting atmosphere for diners.

Another perspective of the Oriental Pavilion, showing how the custom floral upholstery on the chairs coordinates with the red lanterns and screen dividers. Every element is designed to contribute to a cohesive and culturally rich dining experience.

In this section of the Oriental Pavilion, a hand-painted mural of a traditional landscape complements the sheer blue curtains and birdcage-style lanterns. The design creates a serene and intimate dining nook.

At Tamari, a Southeast Asian restaurant in a Taj hotel, I designed the space with a blend of bright reds, greens, and blues. The custom wall panels and upholstery are intended to enhance the culinary journey through a vibrant and culturally symbolic environment.

About Designing for Iconic Hotels

When we design for a hotel like Taj Devi Ratn or Tamari, it is not just about aesthetics; it is about managing the flow of space and creating textures that hold up to heavy guest traffic. Whether we are selecting upholstery that balances deep indigo blues with fiery orange accents or installing wall panels that require precise site matching, our focus remains on creating a cohesive narrative. The goal is to ensure your guests feel the history and soul of the space the moment they step through the door.
