About Behind the Art: My Process & Workshops
When I host a workshop, the biggest fear people have is that they are not artists. Honestly, you do not need to be. My sessions are about lowering that barrier. Whether we are pouring fluid art or sculpting textures for a moon lamp, I bring all the materials, set the playlist, and handle the cleanup. You just show up, let go, and make something real.
I moved away from eight years of auditing as a CA to build this creative studio, and that perspective defines how I teach. I know what it is like to need a creative outlet after a long week. My workshops are not about achieving perfection. They are about the process.
What to Expect
- Fluid Art and Acrylics: We use high-grade acrylics to explore movement and color. It is unpredictable, messy, and deeply satisfying.
- Textured Art: For those who want more tactile work, we dive into modeling paste to create raised textures, similar to the moon lamps I hand-sculpt.
- Private and Group Events: I have hosted everything from intimate birthday gatherings to large-scale sessions for 200 architecture students. I bring the same energy to every event, regardless of size.
Practical Stuff
I handle everything. The paints, the canvases, the aprons, and even the logistics if you are booking a corporate event.
