Magic Consulting & Illusion Design for Film
Beyond live events, I bring my magic to the screen. I worked as a magic consultant for the web series Loot Kaand, ensuring the illusions looked as real on camera as they do in person.
On the set of the web series 'Loot Kaand'. Here I am performing a levitation illusion with one of the actors. It was a great experience to design magic for the camera.
Creating a smoky, mysterious effect for a scene in 'Loot Kaand'. The stage was set up to look like a classic Indian magic show, or 'Mayajaal'.
A wide shot of the 'Mayajaal' magic show set for the web series. We used classic props like the birdcage and various illusion boxes to create an authentic feel.
A close-up shot of me in character as 'Magician Yogi' for the web series. The top hat and costume really helped me get into the role.
The actress's terrified reaction to the surprise rat trick during a scene. This was one of the comedy gags I helped choreograph for the show.

About On Set with "Loot Kaand"
Making magic look good on camera is not the same as performing live. On the set of Loot Kaand, I had to choreograph illusions that worked from specific camera angles, which meant adjusting my usual stage tricks so the magic happened exactly where the lens was pointing. It taught me that real screen magic is about precise timing and controlled lighting, not just the sleight of hand.
Transitioning from a live stage environment to a film set requires a massive shift in perspective. When I perform for an audience, the show happens in 360 degrees. On a production like Loot Kaand, the magic is confined by the viewfinder. My role as a magic consultant is to ensure that the audience at home gets the same wow factor that a live spectator gets at a birthday party or a corporate event.
My work on set involves more than just performing. I focus on the choreography of surprise elements, like the comedy gag involving the rat, and setting up levitation sequences that are both safe for the actors and visually striking for the final cut. Whether it is a comedy gag or a serious illusion, I help directors and actors pull off scenes that require precision timing.
I treat my magic consultancy work with the same attention to detail I apply to my live corporate or private shows. If you are a producer or director looking to add authentic, visual magic to your project, I am ready to bring my equipment, my props, and my 17 years of experience to your set. We can plan the illusions, train the cast, and make sure the magic looks flawless on screen.
