Custom Storytelling & Traditional Bridal Mehendi

I love turning your love story into intricate mehendi art. From traditional mandaps to custom portraits, I use only my own organic henna for a deep stain that lasts.

This is a perfect example of a traditional storytelling mehendi. It features a bride in a doli (palanquin) on one arm and other wedding ceremony scenes, telling a beautiful story.

A close up look at the details in a traditional bridal mehendi. This design includes auspicious symbols like the swastika and kalash, as well as elephant motifs.

This custom design features portraits of the bride and groom, along with a figure of Lord Ganesha for blessings. It's a beautiful way to personalize your bridal mehendi.

About this collection

For custom storytelling designs like portraits or wedding scenes, I recommend setting aside at least 5 to 7 hours. These intricate pieces take time to detail properly on your hands and feet. Because I use only my homemade, organic paste, you get a beautiful, deep stain that is completely safe, even during those long, relaxing hours of application.

Your wedding story is unique, and I love finding ways to weave it into your bridal mehendi. Whether it is a replica of your mandap, a doli, or a portrait of you and your partner, these motifs add a personal touch to your celebration. I have spent 10 years perfecting the balance between traditional patterns and these modern, narrative elements.

When you choose a storytelling design, we can collaborate on the placement. I often incorporate classic symbols like Ganesha or elephants to balance the portraits. My organic paste is made from triple-sifted Rajasthani powder and essential oils like clove and eucalyptus. It is free from chemicals, which is crucial since these elaborate designs require a longer sitting time.

If you are planning a destination wedding, I pack my own cones and travel to your venue. I treat these sessions as a collaborative process. We can chat about the specific elements you want—maybe your wedding hashtag, initials, or a specific motif from your outfits—and I will sketch it out on your hands. My goal is for your mehendi to be a conversation starter at your wedding.

I’m Yasmeen. I have been doing bridal mehendi in Bangalore for a decade, and my favorite part is turning your love story into art. I hand-draw portraits, mandaps, and traditional motifs using only my homemade organic paste so you get a deep stain for your big day.
