Your mehendi should tell your unique love story. From portraits of the couple to special wedding moments, I bring your ideas to life on your palms with precision and organic henna.

This custom design features a bride figure on the palm. Above her, the arm is decorated with an elephant motif and a depiction of a palace, telling a royal wedding story.

A beautiful portrait of a dancing bride in the center of the palm. The design is topped with a peacock and includes lotus details on the fingers.

A work in progress, this image shows the initial outline of a bride's portrait on the palm. I can replicate any photo you provide with this level of detail.

This design was personalized for the sister of the groom. It includes the phrases "Dulhe Ki Behen" (Groom's Sister) and "Bhai Ki Shadi" (Brother's Wedding).

A special design for a baby shower. One hand features a mother holding her baby, and the other shows two hands coming together, symbolizing family and love.

This bridal mehandi tells a story with a 'doli' (palanquin) scene on the arm, representing the bride's journey to her new home.

About Custom Storytelling Mehandi

If you have a specific scene or portrait in mind, share the reference photo with me during your consultation. I replicate the details you see in the picture—whether it is a doli scene, a palace motif, or a couple's portrait—onto your hands. I always map the spacing out on your palm before starting to make sure it fits perfectly without looking cluttered.

How I Create Your Story

Storytelling mehendi is about more than just patterns; it is about capturing specific emotions. When you book a custom design, we discuss the core elements you want. Whether it is a doli sequence representing the bride's journey, or a portrait of the couple that looks exactly like your reference photo, I focus on the outline first.

Getting the Details Right

The secret to a perfect portrait is the outline density. I use a fine-tip organic cone to trace the facial features and wedding symbols like Ganesh Ji or Swastik. Because I use 100% organic mehandi, the stain comes out dark, which makes the intricate lines of the storytelling elements stand out much better than chemical alternatives.

What You Need to Know Before Booking

  • Reference Photos: The best way to get what you want is to send me 2-3 reference images of the portraits or scenes you like. I do not guess; I work from your visual guide.
  • Placement: Custom designs require a clean canvas. I recommend getting a fresh manicure, but keep the oil or lotion off your hands for 24 hours before application to ensure the stain sets perfectly.
  • Time: These designs are dense and take time. For bridal storytelling sets, plan for at least 3 to 4 hours of undisturbed sitting.
  • Trial: I offer a free home trial for brides. This is the best time to test the design and ensure you are happy with the layout before the wedding day.
