About this collection
Getting that deep, maroon color requires a bit of patience. Because my paste is 100% organic with no chemical additives, it needs 24 to 48 hours to fully develop into its final dark shade, but the color lasts significantly longer than the quick-fix chemical cones found in markets.
How My Organic Process Works
I make my henna paste from scratch using triple-sifted Rajasthani powder, blended with essential oils like eucalyptus and clove. I do not use PPD or any harsh chemical boosters to speed up the darkening process. This means you won't get an instant black stain, but you will get a safe, deep red-maroon color that respects your skin and lasts throughout your wedding festivities.
The Importance of Aftercare
Since this is a natural product, the aftercare steps are just as important as the application itself. I provide guidance on how to use a traditional lemon and sugar sealant, which helps the stain penetrate deeper into your skin. I recommend keeping the dried henna on for as long as possible and avoiding water for the first 12 hours after removal to ensure the pigment settles correctly.
Why Choose Organic?
- Safety: No risk of chemical reactions, skin burns, or irritation.
- Longevity: A proper organic stain will stay vibrant for days, not hours.
- Quality: The smell is fresh and herbal, which many of my brides find comforting compared to the sharp smell of store-bought chemical cones.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many days before the wedding should I book the mehendi? I recommend booking me for your mehendi session at least 48 hours before the main event. This gives the stain enough time to reach its deepest, darkest potential by the time your wedding day arrives.
