Building Your Career as a Makeup Artist

Learning makeup is more than just watching demos. My course at Giya Glamshotz is structured to bridge the gap between passion and professional execution. Whether you are aiming to work as a freelance bridal artist or want to join a salon team, the curriculum is built on a foundation of technique and hygiene.

The Foundation

Everything starts with skin analysis. Before a single product touches the face, you need to understand skin types, color theory, and the essential CTM (Cleansing, Toning, Moisturizing) routine. We spend significant time on this, as it is the secret to a long-lasting, flawless finish. You will learn to work with professional-grade products like PAC, Kryolan, and MAC, understanding the chemistry behind why certain bases work for specific events.

Hands-on Technique

Theory is useless without muscle memory. My modules cover:

• HD & Airbrush Makeup: You will get direct exposure to airbrush demonstrations and learn the precision required for HD base application.
• Bridal Looks: We break down the specific requirements for South Indian Muhurtham (matte) and Reception (dewy) looks, ensuring you understand how to customize styles for different preferences.
• Hairstyling & Draping: This is a crucial part of the South Indian bridal aesthetic. You will learn everything from creating structural buns with padding to traditional floral braid (Poola Jada) preparation and precise saree draping techniques like the Kanjeevaram box fold.

Certification

Upon completion of the modules and your practical exam—where you will perform a full makeover and create a portfolio—you will receive a professional certificate from Giya Glamshotz. This is your first step toward building your own client list and establishing yourself in the industry.
