Comprehensive Bridal Makeup & Artistry Course

Core Curriculum

Theory: Skin analysis, color theory, CTM routines, and face shapes for contouring.
Techniques: HD base application, airbrush demonstrations, cut crease eye makeup, and waterproofing.
Looks: South Indian Muhurtham (matte) and Reception (glossy/dewy) looks.

Hair & Draping

Hairstyling: Floral braids (Poola Jada), buns with padding, and extension fixing.
Draping: Box fold Kanjeevaram, Iyengar style, and Can can draping.

Certification & Tools

Practice: In class use of studio brands like PAC, Kryolan, and MAC.
Final Output: Practical exam with a full bridal makeover and professional portfolio photoshoot.
Credentials: Framed Professional Makeup Artist certificate upon completion.
Note: Students must bring their own hygiene kit and brush set.

Traditional Hairstyling & Saree Draping Course

Hairstyling Modules

Preparation: Blow drying, crimping, backcombing, and texturizing.
Bridal Styles: Traditional buns with donut padding and South Indian Jada with floral accessories.
Modern Styles: Mermaid braids, fish tail braids, and open hair variations.

Draping Techniques

Saree Types: Kanjeevaram pleating and ironing, Lehenga style, and double dupatta setting.
Basics: Creating sharp equal pleats and securing heavy silks.

Training Logistics

Equipment: Practice on high quality dummy heads provided by the studio.
Supplies: Access to studio hair sprays, mousses, and pins.
Outcome: Certificate of completion for Hairstyling & Draping.

Art has always been my thing, but sharing what I know feels even better than creating a look myself. I designed this course for anyone who wants to turn their love for makeup into a real job, especially in the bridal space. Teaching is not just about showing steps - I want you to understand the why behind every brush stroke.

Basics first - I spend time on skin analysis for makeup artists, so you know how to work with different faces.
You’ll get the lowdown on the CTM routine and pro tips on looking after yourself as a working artist. Long hours, lots of products - self-care matters.
Watch me break down bridal makeup techniques training with live demos. Nothing is hidden, no shortcuts.
You’re not just watching though. There’s hands-on makeup practice sessions on real models, so you’ll mess up and get better (that’s the only way).
I keep my batches small at my Bangalore studio. That means you get my attention, and no one feels lost.

Hi, I’m Yashaswini. Makeup isn’t just my job, it’s what makes me tick. I love seeing brides light up when they see themselves in the mirror, that’s the best part. I’m here in Bangalore, but hey, I’ll pack my kit and come wherever you need. Got my own studio too, Giyaglamshotz, where I teach folks who love makeup as much as I do. Watching my students start out on their own is a big win for me.
