You won’t just watch me work. In every session, I walk around to observe your technique closely. If your blending is patchy or your eyeliner needs a steadier hand, I catch it right there. We fix it together, correcting your grip and pressure until you achieve that flawless finish.
Theory is essential, but confidence comes from practice. My academy at Mahalakshmi Layout follows a structured approach. We start with the basics like color correction and skin prep because if your base is wrong, nothing else matters. We spend time on color wheels so you understand how to pick the right foundation for any skin tone.
The real magic happens during our practice hours. You are not just sitting in a row watching a demo. You are on the floor, applying products on mannequins first, and then on real models. I make sure every student gets individual attention. If you are struggling with a wing liner or confused about airbrush settings, I am right there to guide your hand.
We keep the groups manageable because I want to know where you are struggling. We cover advanced techniques like Brazilian makeup and waterproof base application. You also get a professional photoshoot at the end to build your portfolio. It is not just about learning makeup, it is about learning how to be a professional makeup artist. You leave with a certification and the technical know-how to handle clients on your own.
