About High-Performance Training Regimen
Our training is not for the casual player. Whether you choose our day scholar or residential program, you are signing up for 30 hours of dual-session training every week. We use intensive multi-shuttle feeding and match simulations against state-ranked players to force growth. You will be on the court for early morning and evening sessions, so come ready to put in the work.
Real Training for Real Results
At YPBA, we treat badminton as a professional pursuit. Our high-performance regimen is not just about swinging a racket. It is a systematic approach to athletic development led by BWF-certified and Indonesian coaches. We focus on the three pillars of championship play: technique, physical conditioning, and match temperament.
What the Regimen Looks Like
We run dual sessions six days a week, from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The morning and evening slots allow us to pack in high-intensity multi-shuttle drills, footwork shadow practice, and stroke correction without compromising on school hours. You are not just training; you are sparring against state-ranked players and our visiting international teams to build the mental grit needed to win.
Beyond the Court
Athletes are built in the gym, too. We include 3-4 weekly sessions focused on plyometrics, agility, and compound lifts in our on-site gym. Our in-house physiotherapist performs injury screening to keep you on the court, not on the sidelines. We also integrate mental conditioning, with monthly sessions covering NLP and match temperament to help you stay calm when the score is tight.
Academics and Sports
We know the challenge of balancing exams with training. Our school liaison program with Poorna Prajna Vidyalaya ensures you have the flexibility to train without losing out on your grades. We track your progress with quarterly assessments that cover both your court ranking and your academic performance. This is the path we have used to help players reach state, national, and international levels.
