Big ink needs big commitment. Whether you are planning a full sleeve, a back piece, or a chest panel, I focus on flow and precision so your art moves with your body.

This is a Polynesian and Maori inspired tribal sleeve. The intricate patterns and bold blackwork are designed to flow with the shape of the arm, creating a powerful and cohesive look.

A large and intricate lotus mandala design that flows down the spine. This kind of back piece requires precision and patience, resulting in a stunning and symmetrical work of art.

A realistic black and grey tattoo of an elephant in the savanna. This large shoulder piece captures the majestic presence of the animal in its natural habitat.

This client wanted a galaxy-themed armband. We designed a space scene with planets and stars, creating a universe on his arm. It's a great example of a creative and detailed band tattoo.

A large floral piece covering the shoulder and upper back. The soft shading and detailed linework give the flowers a realistic and delicate appearance, even on a large scale.

A Japanese-style dragon on the chest and shoulder. The placement is designed to follow the muscles, giving the dragon a sense of movement and power.

Another angle of the dragon tattoo, showing the flow and shading. This style uses negative space and smoky effects to create depth and a mystical feel.

The process of creating the dragon tattoo, from the stencil to the final shading. Large pieces like this are a journey we take together with the client.

About Bold Statements: Sleeves & Large Pieces

Large-scale pieces are not just about the design. They are about the fit. For a sleeve or back piece, I spend significant time on placement and stencil alignment to ensure the art follows your natural muscle structure. We do not rush the stencil. If it does not flow perfectly when you move, we adjust the layout before the needle touches your skin.

When you commit to a large piece like a full sleeve or a back mural, you need an artist who understands how the human body moves. Ink on a flat piece of paper is different from ink on a shoulder or a spine.

My process for large pieces involves:

The Design Journey

We start with a consultation to understand your vibe. Whether you want a Polynesian tribal sleeve, a Japanese dragon, or a realistic portrait, we sketch it to ensure the proportions are right for your body. If you have an idea but aren't sure how it fits on an arm or back, we will figure it out together.

Technical Execution

For large-scale work, I use multiple needle configurations. We use liners for the crisp borders and magnums for the soft shading and filling. This allows me to create depth in black and grey, or smooth transitions in color, depending on what you want. Because these sessions can last 5 to 8 hours, we prioritize comfort—cleanliness, steady breaks, and proper hydration are part of the process.

The 'Xtreme' Standard

Large pieces are a major investment in your skin. We maintain strict hygiene standards with sterilized, single-use needles and high-quality inks. We do not compromise on this. My team at the Jayanagar, Hanumanth Nagar, and Banashankari studios ensures that you are comfortable from the first stencil to the final wash.

If you have a concept in mind, let's talk. We can start with a rough sketch and build it into a piece of art you will be proud to carry.
