About this collection
Editorial makeup is entirely different from the traditional bridal brief, as it focuses on impact for the camera rather than longevity for an event. Whether you need graphic liners, avant-garde textures, or intense color blocking, we work together to build a look that fits your creative vision, not a standard client formula.
When we step out of the wedding zone and into the studio for editorial work, the rules change. We move away from 'long-wear' necessities and focus on high-impact aesthetics. I love collaborating with photographers and stylists to bring a specific mood to life, whether it is a moody, high-fashion concept or a vibrant, trending 'glass skin' aesthetic for a campaign.
How We Work
Unlike my bridal packages, creative sessions are customized based on the complexity of the look and the number of outfit changes involved. We start by discussing the mood board—references for eyes, lip texture, and skin finish.
- Concept Development: We break down the 'vibe.' Are we going for 90s grunge, clean minimalist skin, or bold, editorial glam?
- Texture Play: I use different lighting and camera angles in mind to decide where to place shimmer or matte textures so they pop perfectly on screen.
- Collaboration: I am happy to work directly with your creative director or photographer to ensure the makeup complements the lighting and set design at Studio Fix in Amar Colony.
