My favourite moments aren't just the final reveal, but those chaotic 40-minute rushes before an engagement where we still nail the look, or hearing from a bride the next morning that her makeup stayed perfect even after a night of non-stop dancing. I don't believe in a fixed formula; we sit down, look at your outfit, and chat about your comfort because that’s what makes the makeup feel like yours.
I've worked with brides flying in from Dubai who were terrified of another 'bad experience' and locals who just wanted to feel like themselves without looking cakey. When you're sitting in my chair at Studio Fix in Amar Colony, my job is to listen first.
My 'skin-first' philosophy is born from experience. We spend time on prep—hot towels, deep cleansing, hydration—before a single brush touches your face. That's why my makeup doesn't look like a mask; it looks like your skin, just better. If you have hooded eyes, we tweak the technique. If you're nervous about a bold lip, we find a shade that feels like you.
I treat every event, whether it's an intimate roka or a high-glam cocktail, with the same level of detail. I've had brides give me just 40 minutes to transform them, and those are the moments I thrive in because it's about staying calm and focused on your features, not a template.
