About The Wedding Ceremony: Vows & Rituals
I focus on the quiet rituals as much as the grand moments. Whether it is the soft light during a ring exchange or the intricate traditions of a Hindu ceremony, I am constantly looking for the small, unscripted interactions between you and your family that make the day feel yours.
Every wedding ceremony in the mountains carries a different energy. Whether it is the solemnity of a Christian wedding at a property like Kufri Pacific Resort or the vibrant energy of a traditional Hindu wedding at Woodville Palace, my goal is to ensure the photos feel like an honest reflection of your day.
My Approach to Your Ceremony
When I document your vows, I am not just waiting for the 'I do'. I am watching for the micro-expressions—the way the light hits the altar, or the tear a parent hides during the phera. I work with a team of photographers and cinematographers to ensure we cover these from multiple angles. We use 4K mirrorless cameras and gimbals to keep our movement fluid and unobtrusive, meaning you get candid coverage without feeling like there is a film crew constantly in your space.
What Goes Into the Coverage
For our full destination wedding packages, we bring a 6-person unit, which allows us to split our focus: some of us stay on the couple for the intimate exchanges, while others capture the reactions of your family and the details of the venue decor. We include dedicated audio recording equipment to capture the actual vows and speeches, so you hear the words again years later.
Mountains are unpredictable. If the weather shifts or the light fades, we don't pack up. We adapt, using the mist and the dramatic landscape to add texture to your final wedding story. You end up with a collection that includes both the grand, cinematic wide shots of the venue and the raw, black-and-white portraits of the most emotional seconds of your union.
