About The Groom's Story
We like to arrive early while you are still getting ready. That is when the nerves are real and the light is soft. We capture these quiet moments, like fixing your cufflinks or just breathing in the mountain air, before the chaos of the baraat begins. These frames are not about standing still for the camera, but about finding the space where you can be yourself.
The groom is often the most overlooked part of the wedding narrative. When we work in mountain locations like Woodville Palace in Shimla, we look for natural light and quiet corners that allow a groom to settle into his thoughts. We find that the most honest photographs happen when the groom is not looking at the lens.
Our approach is grounded in movement and reality. If you are wearing a traditional sherwani, we focus on the details of the fabric and the accessories you chose. If you are sharing a laugh with your father while getting ready, we document that connection rather than asking you to hold a pose. We believe that your wedding film or photo album should reflect the actual mood of the day, whether that means capturing the misty, unpredictable weather of the hills or the bright, chaotic energy of the rituals.
We typically work with a team of photographers and cinematographers who blend into the background. This allows us to film the 'in-between' moments—the adjustments to the turban, the reflection in the mirror, or the walk to the mandap. We are based in Shimla and frequently shoot across Manali, Dharamshala, and the rest of Himachal. Because we know these landscapes intimately, we can help you choose the best time of day for your portraits to ensure the mountain light works for you, not against you.
