The Groom's Story: Authentic Wedding Photography
The wedding day is your story too. From the quiet preparation to the joyous ceremony, I capture the groom's perspective with an eye for raw, real emotion.
A portrait of the groom, looking sharp and sophisticated in his sherwani, captured in a moment of quiet reflection before the ceremony begins.
A candid shot of the groom smiling during the wedding ceremony, looking dapper in his all-white sherwani and safa.
A stylish, full-length portrait of the groom in his elegant pastel pink and white wedding attire.
A collage showing the groom getting ready, from the details of his suit and shoes to him adjusting his tie in the mirror.
About The Groom's Story
When I shoot, I am looking for your quiet moments. Whether it is adjusting your tie or that deep breath before the Baraat, these instants carry as much weight as the vows themselves. I do not ask you to pose or stare at the camera, because the real stuff happens when you think I am not watching.
The Groom's Story is not just about standing still for portraits. It is about the transition. We cover the pre-ceremony prep, where the nervous energy is real, to the actual rituals where your joy or solemnity defines the mood.
I work with a 4 to 5 person crew, which allows us to be in two places at once. While one team member is with the bride, I am with you, catching the reactions of your friends, the interaction with your family, and the little details like the safa tying or the ring exchange.
Whether you are in a traditional Maharashtrian setup or a modern cocktail party, my goal is to keep it cinematic but grounded. I do not want you to perform. If you are laughing, I want that laugh, not a posed smile. If you are nervous, I want that shot. Abe, let's keep it real. This is your wedding, not a script, so let's capture you exactly as you are.
Sagar Makwana
I am Sagar. I am not here to direct a movie. I am here to capture the raw, messy, beautiful reality of your wedding, including your side of the story. If you want photos where you look like yourself, not a model, we will get along just fine.
