Cinematic Couple Portraits

Most of you feel awkward in front of a camera, which is actually good. I do not ask you to pose because that is when things get stiff. Instead, I put you in a situation, like a balcony view, a quiet walk, or a laugh, and let your actual dynamic take over. You just need to show up and I will handle the awkwardness.

My approach to couple portraits is simple. I want the frame to look like a scene from a film, but the emotion to feel like your living room. When we shoot, I am looking for the micro-expressions, like the way he looks at you when you are not paying attention, or that specific way you both laugh when the chaos dies down.

I do not carry a laundry list of poses. If we are shooting in a luxury resort or on a simple balcony, I set the scene and then step back. This is why my portraits look timeless. We focus on Golden Hour light, either at sunrise or sunset, because it is forgiving and adds that ethereal glow without needing heavy editing tricks later.

Whether you are in traditional Maharashtrian attire, a heavy lehenga, or simple casuals, the priority remains the same. I work with prime lenses to keep the background soft and dreamlike, putting the focus entirely on your connection. You get the polish of a luxury shoot, but you do not have to perform.
