About The Groom's Moment
I do not believe in holding a pose until you feel awkward. When I am shooting your groom portraits, I look for how you handle your safa or the way you adjust your sherwani. It is about capturing your natural confidence and the quiet anticipation before the baraat arrives, which feels much more real.
There is a specific kind of energy in the room while the groom is getting ready. You have your friends around, the final check of the turban, and that moment of silence before you step out to meet your partner. That is the 'Sajna' feeling I look for.
My approach to groom's photography is strictly about documenting who you are on this day. Whether you are a classic groom in a sherwani or someone who prefers a modern suit, my team and I focus on the small details that make your look unique. We use the same 'chiaroscuro' lighting techniques that I use for bridal portraits to give your photos depth and a cinematic feel, rather than just snapping flat images.
I prefer to stay in the background during these hours. I find that when I am not directing you constantly, you actually show your personality. We will get the formal portraits where you look sharp and ready, but we will also get the shots where you are laughing with your best men or checking your reflection.
If we are shooting in a hotel in Gurgaon or a heritage venue in Rajasthan, I use the architecture to frame your portraits. It adds scale and drama to your solo shots. My goal is to deliver a set of images that feel like a story, capturing the pride, the nerves, and the joy of your big day in a way that feels honest and timeless.
Eye of Turtle
I am Anand, and I believe the groom's story is often overlooked, but the anticipation in your eyes is just as important as the ceremony. I am there to document your style and your nerves, without asking you to put on a fake smile. My camera is just a tool to help you remember the beginning of your new journey.
