Master the right alignment for every pose and discover the healing power of simple hand gestures. Whether you are starting fresh or deepening your existing practice, these fundamentals are designed for your body and your life.

Yoga is for every moment and every body. This video showcases the grace and strength that can be developed through a consistent practice, featuring a young student demonstrating advanced postures like the forearm wheel pose and arm balances. It shows that with dedication, anything is possible.

"Yoga teaches you to respect your body, mind and soul." This image shows me in Virabhadrasana III (Warrior III), a pose that requires balance, focus, and strength. It represents the holistic nature of our practice, which benefits you on all levels.

Feeling stressed? Yoga offers a powerful antidote. This image shows me in a variation of Sirsasana (Headstand), an inversion that calms the nervous system and helps to de-stress the mind. We teach such postures safely in our online and offline classes.

"If you can control your inner self then it's easy to control the outer influence." The headstand posture shown here is a physical representation of this yogic wisdom. By mastering the body and breath, we gain mastery over the mind and its reactions to the world.

Patanjali Maharshi defined asana as "Sthiram Sukham Asanam," meaning a posture should be steady and comfortable. This image of a young student in a deep backbend (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana) beautifully illustrates this principle of finding ease even in a challenging pose.

Yoga truly gives you a special radiance that comes from within. The posture shown here, Matsyasana (Fish Pose), is known for improving posture and bringing a healthy glow. It is one of the many asanas we teach to enhance your vitality.

Mudras, or hand gestures, are a subtle but powerful aspect of yoga. This video explains how each finger corresponds to one of the five elements. By using mudras during your practice, you can balance these elements, adjust the flow of energy, and promote healing in the body.

Self confidence is key to success in life. In this short video, I teach the Surya Mudra (or Agni Mudra), a simple hand gesture that you can practice for a few minutes every day to boost your confidence and inner fire. I also explain the precautions for this practice.

This video breaks down the four essential pillars of my yoga therapy approach. We focus on Asana (postures) for physical health, Pranayama (breathwork) for emotional balance, Dhyana (meditation) for mental clarity, and a holistic approach to overall well being.

"Only when you are more committed to your dreams by breaking your comfort zone, life will change." This advanced posture demonstrates the result of commitment and discipline. Regular yoga practice builds not just physical fitness, but also the mental strength to achieve your goals.

About Asanas, Mudras, and Foundations

I often see students forcing their bodies into poses before they are ready, which is why we strip everything back to the basics of alignment. Before you hold any posture or try a specific mudra, we check your body's current limits—it’s not about how deep you go into a backbend, but how steady and comfortable you remain while performing it.
