When I step into the studio, it is rarely just about getting the steps right. I focus on the story behind the music so that your performance feels like a genuine expression, not just a rehearsed set. This is how I prepare for everything, from intimate couple sangeets to large-scale theatre productions.
For me, dance is a conversation, not just a series of moves. Whether I am working with a family preparing for their wedding in Mumbai or conceptualizing a music video, my process starts by finding the rhythm that connects with you. I do not believe in forcing anyone into a rigid structure. If you are a beginner, we start by building your confidence before we touch complex formations. If you are looking for a performance that hits harder, we dig into the narrative—using elements from Kathak, hip-hop, or folk to add texture to the piece. My approach is simple: we find the energy and channel it into a routine that feels like you. Whether it is a 3-minute sangeet medley or a dramatic theatrical piece, the goal is always to keep the performance alive and grounded. It is about celebrating the culture while staying true to your own vibe.
