A cake smash isn't just about the mess; it’s about the first genuine look of curiosity or delight on their face when they realize the cake is actually for them. In my Kalyan Nagar studio, I keep the lighting soft and the sessions paced slowly—usually allowing for plenty of time for feeding, breaks, and costume changes—so your child stays comfortable instead of cranky.
Your Child's Personality in Focus
I treat every birthday milestone as a mini-production. Whether it is a whimsical unicorn-themed cake smash or a simple, classic portrait session for a two-year-old, the focus remains on capturing their natural expressions. I avoid stiff, forced posing. Instead, I set the scene and let your child explore, giggle, and even throw a bit of cake around.
How It Works
- Theme Planning: We discuss your ideas before the shoot. You have access to my studio prop library, which includes everything from vintage items to floral arches. If you have a specific theme in mind, we can build it.
- The Setup: For cake smashes, I provide the stand and the décor setup. You just bring the fresh cake, and I ensure the lighting and backdrop are perfectly suited for those high-energy moments.
- Comfort First: Toddlers have their own schedules. My studio sessions are planned with ample time so that we never rush your child. If they need a milk break or a moment to settle, we take it.
Logistics & Wardrobe
My studio is located in HRBR Layout, Kalyan Nagar, offering a controlled, private environment perfect for young children. We have a selection of premium outfits available—from gowns and rompers to tuxedos—saving you the hassle of shopping for one-time-use clothes. We typically schedule milestone sessions for the 11th or 12th month for first birthdays, but I am happy to work with any age milestone.
