I’m proud to represent India’s Afro-Latin dance community on the big stage. From masterclasses at Muxima to our own studio sessions, these are the moments where we share the love for Kizomba, Urban Kiz, and Bachata.

A clean and smooth Urban Kiz demo with my partner Tina, filmed in our studio for the Muxima Kizomba Festival promotion. This showcases the technical and fluid style we teach.

Highlights from the Muxima Kizomba Festival, known as the biggest in Asia. It's an honor to be featured artists, teaching and dancing with this incredible international community.

A demonstration of Urban Kiz at the Muxima festival. Our goal is to introduce and elevate this dance style across India, and festivals are the perfect stage.

The Urban Kiz Flow workshop at the Afro Sekita festival. It was a great session, and we always end with a group photo to remember the energy and the students.

Bringing a touch of Indian culture to the dance floor. A fun Kizomba fusion dance in traditional wear during the Afro Sekita festival socials.

Our official artist poster for Afro Sekita 2.0. These features recognize our role as pioneers for Kizomba and Urban Kiz in Bangalore and across India.

About this collection

When we teach at festivals like Muxima or Afro Sekita, we don't just focus on steps. We break down the mechanics of connection and flow in Urban Kiz and Bachata. If you have been watching our clips and wondering how we keep that smoothness on a crowded social floor, that is exactly what we cover in these sessions.

Dancing at national festivals is about more than just a performance; it is where I get to refine the technique that I bring back to our studios in Bangalore. Whether it is a high-energy stage demo or an intensive bootcamp, the focus remains on musicality and partner connection.

What we teach

We bridge the gap between social dancing and technical masterclasses. You will see us breaking down Tarraxo, Urban Kiz, and Semba—styles that require a deep understanding of weight transfer and body isolation. Our workshops at these events are designed to be practical. We emphasize leading and following mechanics that actually work in real-world social dancing, not just in a classroom setting.

The community

Festivals are the heartbeat of the Afro-Latin scene in India. It is where dancers from Delhi, Goa, and Bangalore converge. When we headline events like La Afro Vacay, we are there to ensure the energy stays consistent, whether it is a beginner workshop or an advanced social night.

We love seeing new faces at these festivals. If you are worried about your experience level, don't be. We often have beginner-friendly tracks at these events that teach you the core principles of the groove before you jump into the complex patterns.

I’m Vin. I started Vins Dance Co. to bring the real Afro-Latin groove to India, and festivals are where I get to see that vision come alive. I love nothing more than watching a complete stranger get hooked on the flow during a workshop and then own the dance floor that same night.
