Execution & Logistics
- Backstage management by Lead Stylist and 1 Assistant on show day.
- Ramp readiness checks including steaming, lint checks, and quick-fix alterations.

Solo Runway Show Styling
Strategic Planning
- Development of collection narrative and themes.
- Assistance in auditions to select up to 20 models matching brand persona.
- External sourcing of shoes, props, or specific jewelry not provided by the designer.
Operational Execution
- Full-day (8+ hours) fitting session to tailor looks to specific models.
- Creation of visual boards for backstage dressers to follow.
- Team of Lead Stylist plus 2 Assistants to manage changes during the show.
- Direct liaison with makeup and hair teams to define the beauty look.

How I See Runway Styling
The runway isn’t just about clothes - it’s about telling a story that sticks with people. I work closely with designers to shape not just the look, but the entire vibe of a fashion show. My job is to turn your collection into a real experience, not just a display.
What I Actually Do
I’m not just picking out outfits. I get involved in everything from creative direction to model casting. I help set the overall mood, develop the show’s theme, and even pitch in on set design. If you need someone to handle runway model curation or give the show that extra punch, I’m there.
How It All Happens
- I start with your idea and help curate every look, making sure each piece fits the bigger story.
- Fittings day is hands-on - I tweak outfits with models so the fit and impact are spot-on.
- Backstage, it’s pure hustle. I manage accessories, coordinate with the crew, and make sure every detail is sorted. Har look ki apni kahani (Every look has its own story) - I make sure that story hits the runway just right.
My Experience
I’ve worked as a fashion week stylist for big events, including shows in Bangalore. My range goes from menswear collections to couture mixed with heavy jewelry. I’ve directed campaigns with Wedding Asia and top designers across India - Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, you name it. Fashion doesn’t have boundaries, and neither do I.
