About LYFE: The Zero-Gravity Planter
The secret to this planter isn't just the levitation, it is the constant, gentle 360-degree rotation. Because it spins in mid-air, your air plant receives uniform sunlight on all sides, mimicking the natural conditions these plants need to thrive. You do not have to worry about soil messes on your desk, and you certainly do not need to manually turn the pot to keep the plant healthy.
Our LYFE planter is an authentic design piece from the Swedish brand FLYTE, not a generic alternative. At its core, the system uses magnetic levitation to suspend a 12-sided silicon pot above a sustainable oak base.
Why it works for your plants
Air plants, or Tillandsia, are sensitive to stagnant conditions. They need air circulation and consistent light to prevent rot. The constant rotation prevents the buildup of moisture in the center of the plant and ensures that the leaves on the underside get their turn in the sun. This is the only planter we have found that truly balances modern design with plant physiology.
Technical details
The base is wired for power, creating the magnetic field required for levitation. It does not run on batteries, so you will need a standard power outlet nearby. The kit arrives with a live air plant sourced by our horticulturists, ready for installation.
