When strawberry season hits, we go all out. Here’s a little preview of our seasonal menu featuring a strawberry gooey brownie, a fresh strawberry Berliner, and our famous Tres Leches with a strawberry twist.

About this collection
When I say seasonal, I mean it. My strawberry menu, for instance, relies entirely on finding the juiciest, freshest berries at the market, so when they are out of season, they are gone from my counter, too. It is the same with my festive bakes; I only run them when the spirit hits, making them a little more special to catch while they are here.
Baking with the seasons keeps things exciting for both of us. My strawberry menu is a massive favorite—from strawberry-topped brownies to fresh cream berliners—but it only stays as long as the berries are at their peak. I do not believe in using artificial stuff just to keep a menu running year-round, so if you see fresh strawberry treats in my display case, you know they were likely picked just a few days ago.
Then there is the holiday season. Come December, the whole bakery transforms. I love the chaos of filling the shop with the smell of warm gingerbread, plum cakes soaked in tradition, and rum balls. My babka knots and stollen bites only come out for a few weeks, and honestly, that is what makes them taste better.
