Turn your vision into a moody, conceptual masterpiece. I blend professional editing with creative direction to ensure your portraits feel like art, not just pictures.

An artistic portrait using a selective color technique. By keeping the image monochrome except for the red rose, lips, and hair, I created a dramatic and intense look that is both modern and timeless.

Playing with selective color in a fun, creative portrait. The bright yellow of the orange slice pops against the black and white image, drawing attention to the model's expressive eyes.

A playful and creative studio portrait. Using a slice of orange as a prop adds a fun, quirky element, while the model's expression brings a burst of personality to the shot.

An experimental edit from our creative portrait session. I used a graphic overlay and desaturated tones to give this playful shot a more artistic, magazine-style feel.

About Creative & Artistic Portraits

When I shoot these, it is not just about the pose. I spend time on the edit—like the selective color pop on that red rose or the yellow orange slice—to strip back the distractions and make your expression the focus. We chat about your vibe before the session, so I can plan the post-production to match your personality, whether you want a moody black and white aesthetic or a high-fashion look.

Photography for me is about building a narrative, and these portraits are where I really get to experiment. I love playing with light, shadow, and color to create a look that feels cinematic.

My Approach to Artistic Portraits

  • Selective Color: I use this technique to draw the eye exactly where I want it, often desaturating the background to make a single pop of color shine. It adds a timeless, graphic feel.
  • Moody & Cinematic Edits: If you prefer something more classic, I lean into deep shadows and high-contrast black and white grading. This is great for street fashion or serious editorial shots.
  • Conceptual Freedom: If you have an idea, we can make it happen. I have worked on themes ranging from Parisian street style to video game-inspired shoots. I bring the props and the creative direction; you just bring your energy.

Where We Shoot

Whether it is the urban streets of Bangalore, clean modern architectural lines, or a quiet spot in Mysore, I help scout the location that fits the concept. Most of my sessions are 2 to 5 hours long, allowing us to try out different looks and lighting conditions, including my favorite golden hour shots.

This is not a session where you get 500 unedited files. We focus on getting 15 to 25 high-quality, magazine-style images that you will actually want to print.

I'm Vasuki. I see photography as chasing stories, not just pressing a button. My wife is my muse, and together we turn a simple session into a narrative. No stiff, corporate poses here—just you, me, and some creative magic.
