About Creative & Black and White Portraits
I don't just ask you to stand and smile. Whether we are in my Hebbal studio or shooting out in the city, we will spend time discussing concepts and lighting styles so the final images feel like a piece of art rather than a standard photograph.
Creative portraiture is about stripping away the noise to find the real person behind the camera. When I photograph in black and white, we remove the distraction of color, which forces us to focus on expressions, texture, and the raw emotion of the moment. It is often why my clients find these images to be the most timeless ones in their collection.
My approach to creative shoots is highly collaborative. I enjoy playing with light and shadows to create depth, as you can see in the 'loveliness' series or the 'white and green' experimental shoots. We can do this in my controlled studio environment in Hebbal where I have full command over the lighting, or we can head to your favorite outdoor spot in Bengaluru if you want a more natural, cinematic backdrop.
If you have a concept you want to try, just bring it up. I am always open to testing new techniques, like double exposure or dramatic silhouette work. My goal is to make sure you walk away with portraits that show who you really are, not just a posed version of yourself.
