I usually avoid heavy studio equipment for these sessions because it creates a barrier between us. We will stick to natural light and the spaces you spend your time in, so the photos feel like an extension of your own personality rather than a staged photoshoot.
The best portraits happen when you stop thinking about the camera. That is why my approach to lifestyle photography is rooted in your comfort. Whether it is a quiet morning at home, a walk through a park in Bangalore, or hanging out at your favourite local cafe, we focus on the candid interactions that define you.
Why Lifestyle Portraits?
Unlike high-fashion or conceptual shoots, lifestyle portraits are all about your vibe. We are not trying to look like a model in a magazine. We are trying to capture your real smile, your favourite headphones, and the small details that make your day-to-day interesting.
My Process
- Location Choice: You pick a spot that resonates with you. It could be your balcony, a cafe you love, or a quiet street in Indiranagar or Mysore.
- Natural Light: I am a big believer in golden hour photography. The soft, natural light adds a warm, cinematic feel to the images without needing artificial flashes that make people uncomfortable.
- Relaxed Pace: A 2-3 hour session gives us enough time to settle in, have a conversation, and wait for that one genuine moment to happen.
- Minimalist Editing: I apply a moody, cinematic grade that enhances the mood of the session, focusing on rich tones rather than heavy filters.
